45ml Tequila (better the quality better the taste).
30ml Cointreau.
30mL Fresh Lemon Juice (can use Lime)
Ice
Lemon or Lime for garnish
Method
Put the salt on a flat plate, run the lemon around the rim of a margarita glass, turn the glass upside down and move it around on the plate with the salt on it. Use a paper towel and run your finder inside the glass to remove the excess salt (salt should not be on the inside of the glass as it will make the drink salty).
Fill the cocktail shaker full of ice, add all the liquid and shake for 1 – 2 minutes.
Strain into your glass, garnish with the lemon or lime and serve.
